Pot is now legal to smoke in private in South Africa after the Constitutional Court ruled two years ago that the law invaded our right to privacy.

The draft legislation is messy and needs fixing (much like the crazy rules we had to endure under lockdown Level 4, where we could only buy winter clothing - no open-toed shoes like flip flops!)

For example, don't smoke near a window - if somebody outside sees you, you can be arrested. And only six plants per person but it's against the law to buy or sell so how the hell do you obtain the plants in the first place?
