I’m Not Making This Up — These Church Bulletins Are Real and Hilarious

So sidesplitting I was in stitches

I don’t know who scraped these from the internet.

Since they’re in the public domain on social media, I’m not worried about copyright violations. If whoever wrote these had not violated the norms of English grammar and spelling, we wouldn’t be laughing today.

In a world turned upside down, a good old giggle helps lift our spirits.

Here goes:

• Don’t let worry kill you off — let the Church help.
• The ladies of the Church have cast off clothing of every kind. They may be seen in the basement on Friday afternoon.
• The Church will host an evening of fine dining, super entertainment and gracious hostility.
• At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be “What is Hell?” Come early and listen to our choir practice.
• For those of you who have children and don’t know it, we have a nursery in the basement.
• Low Self-Esteem Support Group will meet Thursday at 7pm. Please use the back door.
• Potluck supper Sunday at 5pm — prayer and medication to follow.
• The Rector will preach his farewell message…
