Almost 70% of the population on the African continent is under 30.

They are the custodians of a future where Africa will reach the freedom from poverty, strife, hunger, and oppression as a daily experience instead of a one-day event.

“Africa needs a new type of citizen, a dedicated, modest, honest and informed man. A man who submerges self in service to the nation and mankind. A man who abhors greed and detests vanity. A new type of man whose humility is his strength and whose integrity is his greatness.” ― Kwame Nkrumah, Africa Must Unite (1963)

Let’s ditch the politics and celebrate with music on Africa Day, 25 May!

We’ll begin with Not Yet Uhuru sung by Letta Mbulu
