Cyclone Eloise hit Mozambique and has morphed into an overland tropical depression, causing widespread heavy rains and flooding in northern and eastern South Africa.

Our bathroom roof is leaking again! (I thought I’d fixed it two weeks ago!) Nothing I can do except haul out buckets, towels and saucepans to catchment areas.

And maintain a serious sense of humor!

The rain comes and goes as it pleases — sometimes a drizzle, other times such as now, I curse the dark angels scrubbing down heaven (why sanitize?) and emptying their pails of dirty water straight on to our cottage.
